BRANDIES
Owen M. Brandies, 97, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2002. Born in Bryceville, FL, he was a member of San Mateo Baptist Church for many years and a longtime member of the Masonic Lodge. In August he was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Magdalene W. Brandies and in 1995 by his grandson, Steve Brandies.
Suvivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Stanley and Diane Brandies; granddaughter Denise Roerig and her husband Shawn; 2 great- grandson's, Justin and Clayton Roerig; sister-in-law, Amelia Brandies; and many friends and neighbors who have been close to the family for years.
Funeral will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, November 26, in the chapel of Town and Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd. with the Rev. David Collins officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Monday from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The Compassionate Friends in memory of Steve Brandies.
