Danny L. "Boomer" Poston JOHNSONVILLE - Mr. Danny L. "Boomer" Poston, 62, died Thursday, November 17, 2011, at his residence after an illness. Mr. Poston was born on September 30, 1949, in Florence County, a son of the late Gurvis Tommy Poston and Gladys Daphine Stone Barr. He was a farmer. Surviving are three sisters, Anne (Kirk) Craft of Florence, Wanda "Bay" (Stanley) Collins of Effingham and Sandra Ray of Pamplico; three brothers, Ricky Poston, Tony (Melissa) Stone and Luther "Bunny" (Sally) Barr, all of Johnsonville. He was predeceased by a sister, Sherrill "Sherry" Poston Altman. Graveside funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, November 20, 2011, at Lake Chapel Cemetery, Johnsonville. The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Saturday, November 19, 2011, at Carolina Funeral Home, Scranton, and other times at the home: 507 Macks Lake Road, Johnsonville, SC
