Mr. Gordon Armistead Anderson, Sr. - a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, AL died Tuesday, February 21, 2012.
Mr. Anderson was preceded in death by his wife, Eloise Langan Anderson; his sister, Sylvia Rose Lund, grandson, James David Anderson, granddaughter Jeannine Anderson Webb and great grandson Elijah John Anderson, all of Mobile.
He is survived by six sons, Gordon A. (Ellen) Anderson, Jr. of Coden, AL., David M. (Jennifer) Anderson of Theodore, AL., Gary P. (Janey) Anderson of Theodore, AL., A. Dale (Patricia) Anderson of Theodore, AL., Timothy E. (Mena) Anderson of Mobile, AL., Terrence L. (Jan) Anderson of Brewton, AL., daughter, Eloise A. (Mark) Fox of Mobile, AL.; 18 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, Nephews Glen (Karen) Lund and Edward (Delores) Lund; many other relatives and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 A.M., on Friday, February 24, 2012 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. The family will receive friends from 10 A.M. until 11 A.M. on Friday at the Church with the rosary being recited at 10:30 A. M. Interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
