They had four children: Nancy, Dorothy, Allen and Neil. At some point as the family moved from Kansas to California, the Spelling of Killgore was adopted rather than Kilgore, used by this Indiana family

A.R. Killgore, Lawyer, Dies.
Albert Russell Killgore, 63, former executive vice president of the Title Gaurantee & Trust Co., died at his home, 1811 Clevend Road, Glendale, yesterday. He was vice president of the compant from 1925-1933 and retured to become a Christian Science practitioner. He lived in Glendale since 1908 and in early days of the city was associated with L.C. Brand,pioneer developer of Glendale. Mr. Killgore was admitted to the California Bar in 1912 and was a member of the University Club. He leaves his widow Elma, two daughters, Nancy Killgore and Mrs. Dorothy Warner, two sons. Allen Russell and Neil Arthur Kilgore and two brothers, Jason S. of Glendale, and Chester of El Centro. Funeral services will be conucted at 2 PM Thursday at Kiefer & Eyerick Mortuary, Glendale.
