E. G. Townsend, of Lithia, died at 8:24 p. m. Friday at Lithia, after an illness of nine days from typhoid-pneumonia. He is survived by a wife and four children, three of whom are girls. Mr. Townsend was born in this county October 31, 1861. and had lived all his life in Hillsborough. He was well esteemed by all who knew him.
