San Marcos - Elmer "Jack" Bussell of San Marcos died Sept. 16 in an Escondido convalescent home. He was born in Philadelphia, PA., and had lived in San Marcos since 1956 and in California for 70 years. He was assistant Elmer of MGM motion picture film processors for 45 years and supervisor of film processing, motion pictures and television engineers.

Surviving are his wife Helen; one son, Dr. John Bussell of Beverly Hills; one daughter. Dr. Jacqueline Reedy of Newport Beach; four grandchildren and one sister.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sept. 20 at the Alhiser-Wilson Mortuary Chapel. The Rev. Robert Thomas, pastor of the Westminster Presbyterian Church and Dr. Jacqueline Reedy of Newport Beach will officiate. Private burial will be at Forest Law Memorial Park, Glendale.

The family as suggested that those who care to do so, in lieu of flowers, make contributions in his memory to the Elizabeth Hospice, P.O. Box 391, Escondido, Calif. 92025.
