Mr. Golden was born Aug. 8 , 1899, in Forman, Ark., and was a 23-year resident of
Texas City.
He was formerly in the trucking business but had been retired several years.
Survivors include his wife of Texas City; two daughters, Mrs. Vivian Henson of Quanah and Mrs. Meek; three sons, Charles of Texas City, Marshall of Wilmer and John Castro of Huntsville; two sisters, Mattie Phinegar of Hanford, Calif., and Laura Clevenger of Colorado City; and three brothers, C. C. of Texarkana, Ark., R. B. of Colorado City and Fred of Westbrook
Pallbearers were Harrison Moss, NolanTrudhomme,Sam Emmert, Edwin Calhoun.Paul Rodgers and M. J. Dennis.
