DANIEL A. BALDWIN

Daniel Archimedes Baldwin was born in Lee county, Iowa, November 1st, 1857, and died at Larned, Kansas, May 24th, 1923, aged 65 years, 6 months and 24 days. He came to Kansas in 1875 and made his home with his parents until their death.

He was married September 24th, 1908, to Mrs. Jane Brown, of Anadarko, Okla. To this union were born two sons and one daughter, all of whom survive him and are with their mother in Trenton, Mo.

He united with the M. E. church at this place when he was 30 years of age and has lived a Christian life ever since.

He had been a sufferer of stomach trouble for several years, and thinking the change in climate might help he came to visit his brother, Thomas Baldwin, about four weeks ago, and was taken worse immediately and was confined to his bed until his death.

Besides his immediate family he leaves three brothers to mourn his loss, G. E.Baldwin of Florin, Cal., Chas. Baldwin of Nickerson, Kan., and Thomas E. Baldwin of Larned.

The funeral services were held in Larned Friday afternoon from the Methodist church, conducted by the pastor, Rev. J. E. Thackery, and interment was in Larned cemetery.
