Leah Theresa Kalsu died Thursday, June 5, 2003, at the age of 83 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was born November 18, 1919, to Homer and Marie Aguillard in Sweetwater, Louisiana. Leah married Frank J. Kalsu on June 27, 1942. They had one child, James Robert Kalsu, who died in Vietnam on July 21, 1970. Frank preceded her in death on August 31, 1982. She is survived by her daughter-in- law Jan Kalsu-McLauchlin and her husband Bob McLauchlin, her 2 grandchildren Jill Kalsu Horning and James Robert Kalsu, Jr. and their spouses Steve Horning and Jenny Kalsu, her seven great grandchildren Erin Horning, Zachary Horning, McKenzie Kalsu, Heather Horning, Madison Kalsu, Haley Horning and James Robert Kalsu III (to be born in August), her brother-in-law Milton Kalsu and his wife Kay, and her sister-in-law Mary Ann Vitek and her husband Gene, as well as many other family members and friends. Leah was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Del City where her Rosary will be held Sunday, 7:00 P.M., and her funeral Mass, Monday at 10:00 A.M. She was our strength and our love and will be forever held in our hearts. She is now at home with her husband, her son and God, but her memory and love will never be forgotten. May God give back to her all the blessings she has given to us. Let us all find comfort in knowing that Grandma Kalsu is with God — resting in perfect peace. Ford Funeral Service 305 S. Sooner Rd.
