Sarah Elizabeth Lady Agee came to Oregon with her parents, as an emigrant, from DeKalb County, Missouri, in the early 1850s.

She married Benjamin Coats Agee, son of Isaac Agee and Cordelia Thornton, on January 22 1863 at Yamhill County, OR. They had the following fourteen children: Oscar, Orvil, Roland, Norman, Miles,Minnie, Millie, May, Asher, Rose, Frederick, Daisy, Earl and Elmer. They lived in the Dixonville and Winston (Civil Bend) areas.
