James David Price, 85, passed away in McGehee, AR on February 20, 2012.
J.D. was born in Heroldton,OK and raised in the Amos Bayou community.
He retired after a career as a salesman for Faulkner Pipe Co. and having served many years as the manager of the McGehee Water Service.
J.D. was a devout Christian and longtime member of the First Assembly of God in McGehee. He was active in the local Gideon's organization. J.D. had a special gift as a musician that he shared willingly with many over the years.
He was raised by his mother the late Christine Dunahoe and her husband Fred Dunahoe.
His father was the late Richard Price and step-mother Reatha Price. He was married for 65 years to the late Barbara Price whom he loved dearly.
J.D. is survived by his children: Butch Price and wife Cholista of Cabot AR, Ron and Mary Kay Price of El Campo TX, Keith Price and Kathy Ouellett of Lake Conway AR, Cathy Price-Blagg of Vicksburg MS, Scott and Claire Price of Ft. Smith AR, three brothers: Thad Dunahoe, Jo Ed Price of Fairhope AL, Del Palmer of Washington D.C., four sisters: Peggy Markham of TN, Nina Stout of Star City AR, Judy Beason of White Oak TX, Gloria McClendon of Kernersville. 9 treasured grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service on Thursday, February 23rd at 10 a.m. at First Assembly of God, McGehee, AR with Brother Terry Morgan officiating.
Burial at Jefferson Cemetery in Winchester AR.
