Dorothy graduated from Fremont Ross High School in 1933. She worked as a supervisor at S. E. Hyman Company for 53 years until she retired in 1989. She also volunteered at the Sandusky County Food Pantry for over 30 years. Dorothy was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church where she taught Sunday school. She was also a member of AARP and enjoyed gardening.
Dorothy is survived by one niece, four nephews, and many great and great-great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Hazel Montague, Mary Palyshka, Iva Gasdritza, Marjorie "Susie" Kowal and an infant sister; great nephews, Andrew Guggisberg and Daniel Kowal.
