BRISTOL - Susan L. DeGroot-Gullo, 46, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Monday, June 26, 2006, in Boca Raton, Fla. She was born on November 24, 1959, to Charles J. and Geraldine (nee: Sabert) Black Sr. in Milwaukee. She was married to Robert DeGroot for several years and then later divorced. On May 4, 2004, she married Jeffrey C. Gullo in Kenosha. She was educated in Milwaukee. She was working on her CPA at Carthage College. She worked at Tri-Clover for 17 years, at J.I. Case for four years, at Coten and Wright Tax Firm for several years, and recently at Coyle and Associates Tax Firm of Lincolnshire, Ill. Susan was a member of the HOG Chapter. She enjoyed traveling, reading, paintings, sculptures, and shopping. She made many trips to casinos to play her favorite game, blackjack. Susan was a very caring person, who loved helping others. She is survived by her husband, Jeffrey C. Gullo of Bristol; her daughter, Jaime DeGroot of Bristol; her son, Casey DeGroot of Bristol; her step-daughters, Jessica Gullo of Racine and Jennifer Gullo of Cudahy; her mother, Geraldine Black of Racine; her sisters, Colleen Black of Kansasville and Sharon (Art) Busch of Dunnellon, Fla.; her brother, Charles Black Jr. of Lebanon, Mo.; her granddaughter, Jada Santiago; two nephews, John and Dustin; several other nieces and nephews; and her dog, Andrew. She will also be missed by her good friend, Sherry. She was preceded in death by her father; and one sister, Debbie in infancy. Funeral services for Susan will be held at the Bruch Funeral Home on Sunday, July 2, 2006, at 6 p.m. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon from 3 p.m. until time of service.
