member of the firm of Reese-Hammond Fire
Brick Company of Bolivar, died at Aiken, S.
C , on Saturday, of consumption, aged 49
years. He is survived by his wife, three
sons and two daughters. He is also survived
by two brothers—E. R. and J. R. Hammond,
of Bolivar. The remains were taken
to Bolivar, on Monday, and interment was
made there on Tuesday.
Son of James and Elizabeth Brett Hammond.
Brother of Elliot R. Hammond also buried in West View Cemetery.
Married Mary Barron in 1875.
