Wouldn't life be perfect if good bye only meant until tomorrow ~~~

Wonell was my special aunt. She loved me unconditionally, just like I am with all my faults and shortcomings and I loved her and I will miss her the day I die.

Wonell was the youngest daughter of R.M. and Laura Ellen Wornell Gibson. She was born in Noonday, Smith County, Texas but grew up in Newton,Texas. She married J.W. Williams, Jr and they had two sons, J.W. Williams III, (Jody) and Jeffrey Michael Williams. She later married Grover Carey and became the step-mother of his sons, Robin and Ronny Carey.

Wonell was preceded in death by her husband, Grover, her parents and her six sisters, Geraldine David, Essie Wier, Bennie Hall, Tommie Grappe, Billie Grider and Shirley Ann Gibson.

She is survived by her sons, two grandchildren, Justin and Wesley Williams and five nephews and ten neices.

A former resident of Orange, Texas she had resided in Vinton for the past thirty two years. Wonell was very talented. She could do anything she set her mind to accomplish. She and Grover always had a garden and she had a greenhouse. She could quilt, knit, cross stitch, crochet and she did china painting and ceramics. She loved music and dancing, playing cards, especially Bridge with her friends and she had a wonderful personality.

She loved her boys, her family, her sisters and her neices and nephews. She was my Aunt and she will always have a place in my heart and I will cherish my memories of her forever.

Wonell's oldest son Jody died January 1, 2012. He is buried by his mother in Niblett's Bluff Cemetery ~
