Ralph Boman, 58, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, died Wednesday, August 1, 2001, at his home after a short illness.

He was born March 29, 1943, in Moran, Kansas, the son of Dean and Elsie (Wade) Boman.

He graduated from Humboldt High School in 1961, then moved to Tulsa where he became a plumber.

He had owned his own business and worked for the Tulsa public schools. He was employed by Tulsa County at the time of his death.

He enjoyed coaching baseball and being a cub scout leader. He was president of his local neighborhood association.

Survivors include his wife, Dena, of the home; a daughter, Vickie Hoffman; a stepson, Charlie Dake; six grandsons, three great-grandchildren, all of Tulsa, OK; three brothers, Bill, of Miami, OK, Glen, of Garfield, AR, and Dale, of Iola, KS; four sisters, Shirley Shultz, of Chanute, KS, Phyllis Puckett, of Alliance, NE, Helen Roberts, of Stark, KS, and Sue Coultas, of Iola, KS.

He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant daughter, Marcella; and a brother, Jeffrey.

Services will be Monday, August 6, 2001, at the Airport Free Will Baptist Church, Tulsa, Oklahima. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Humboldt, Kansas, at a later date.
