WILL OF LINDLEY STEWART
Last Will and Testament of Lindley Stewart, decd
As it is deed[sic] appointed for man to die, I Lindley Stewart a being in my proper mind do make and publish this as my Last Will and Testament, hereby revoking and making void all other wills by me at anytime made.
First, I direct that my burial and financial expenses be paid out of the first money that may come into the hands of my exectition[sic].
Second, I want all of my just debts paid if I should owe anything.
Third, I will unto my beloved wife Eliza Stewart the trace of land I now live on and also my two tracts of land lying in the 9th civil district of Humphreys Co, TN. I also will unto her all of my stock of every description, all of my forming impliunects[sic], all of my house hold and kitchen furniture to include all of my personal property of every description to be hers during her natural life time and after it goes to her bodily heirs.
Lastly, I appoint my beloved wife as my lawful executor to this my Last Will and Testament whereof I do herewith set my hand and seal to this my Last Will and Testment, this April the 1st, 1888.

State of Tennessee, Dickson County } County Court Oct term 1902
This day was presented in open court a paper writing purporting to be the LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT of Lindley Stewart decd and the same was proven to be such by the oath of James Few one of the subscribing witnesses thereto, who stated that he saw said Stewart sign said will and declare the same to be his LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT and that he was in his right mind at the time of signing the same. He stated also that he (Few) and witness John T. Baker signed said will in the presence of Testator and at his request and that said Baker is now dead. Said Baker's signature was proven in open court. Said will was probated and ordered recorded.
