Angie Clark Druin, 90, died Friday, 17 February 2012, at Masonic Home Shelbyville. She was born in Vine Grove in Hardin County, Kentucky, to the late Charlie Crewz and Elizabeth Virginia Horton Clark. The widow of L. Lee Druin, she was homemaker and a member of the Church of God of Prophecy for over 62 years, where she was a former mission director and Sunday School teacher. She enjoyed cooking and was a former member of the Simpsonville Junior Homemakers, formerly active in the Connoisseur Studios; and a former employee of the old Jerry's Restaurant in Shelbyville.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Charles W. Druin, and one daughter, Alma LaVon Druin.
Her survivors include her two sons, Raymond Lee Druin and Homer Eugene Druin, both of Shelbyville; one sister, Catherine McCormick of Elizabethtown; her eight grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Monday, at the Hall-Taylor Funeral Home of Shelbyville, with Reverend Jesse Baxter officiating. Interment will be in the Simpsonville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M., until 9:00 P.M., Sunday, at Hall-Taylor. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Church of God of Prophecy, the American Cancer Society, or the American Heart Association.
