Born in Culdrum (Township), MN -- near the village of Flensburg, MN; Anna was the third of fourteen children (nine daughters & four sons) born to Bartholomew & Marya (Sidlow) Wotzka.

On 7 November 1892, Anna (aka "Jennie") married Henry B. Allen in Little Falls, MN; she was age 19, he was 31. Born in Springfield (Township), OH; Henry was the oldest of five children (four sons then a daughter) born to Lorenzo D. & Eliza (Mills) Allen.

Anna & Henry had one child:
-o- Charles Henry (1893-1973)

A homemaker & mother of one, Anna died from complications of an infection & inflammation in her fallopian tubes (Salpingitis) at Saint Joseph Hospital in Tacoma, WA. The family had moved to the Tacoma area only five days earlier.
