Late last night at his home Captain Lazarus Kenworthy, a famous old sea captain, died, aged 71 years, sixty-three years of which were spent on salt water. He had many times visited Greenland, and lower artic regions, served with distinction in the navy during the rebellion and nearly lost his life twice at the hand of Algerian freebooters.
