James Monroe "J.M." Cain Jr., 84, of Silsbee died Monday, August 10, 1998, at Silsbee Doctors Hospital.
Funeral services were held Thursday, August 13, at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with burial at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont.
A native of Fuque, he lived in Silsbee 26 years and was a retired mechanic for Haliburton.
Survivors include his sister, Evelyn Cain of Livingston; grandsons Kevin Stephens of Buna and Steve Stephens of Silsbee; and granddaughters, Kathleen Brock of Pasadena and Sheree Akins of Conroe.
