She was a nurses aide. She worked at Frederick Memorial Hospital, Frederick Nursing Center which became Meridan Health Care, College Veiw Nursing Home and Northampton Nursing Home. She liked crocheting and was a cub scout den mother earlier in life. She was a member of the United Fire Co. womens auxillary. She was the last of her immediate family.
She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She is loved and missed.

Rose Marie Wolfe Hamburg Keeney, 70, of Tullahoma, Tenn., died Thursday, Dec. 16, 2010, at her residence. Born May 8, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Charles T. Wolfe and Mary Haines Derr. She was the wife of the late Melvin Hamburg and the late Roland L. Keeney.

Mrs. Keeney was a nurses aide. She began her career at Frederick Memorial Hospital and then moved to the Frederick Nursing Center, which became Meridian Health Care, and then later, College View Nursing Home. Her last place of employment before retirement was Northampton Nursing Home. She enjoyed crocheting and was a Cub Scout den mother earlier in her life. In addition, she was a member of the United Fire Co.'s women's auxiliary.

She is survived by her children, Melvin Hamburg and wife Juanita and Mary Keeney and husband David, both of Frederick, Rose Culler and the late James of Salem, Ala., and Charles Hamburg of Tullahoma, Tenn.; grandchildren, Mandy Stevens, Jesse Stevens and David Lee Keeney; as well as great-grandchildren, Jalen and Aayden-Kye. She will be remembered by friends Julie Wachter and Barbara Coulter; as well as various nieces and nephews. Mrs. Keeney was the last of her immediate family, being preceded in death by her brothers, Gene Wolfe, Charles Wolfe, Dick Wolfe and Val Wolfe; and sister, Mary Osborne.

Friends will be received from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 19, at Keeney and Basford, P.A., Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 20, in Etchison Memorial Chapel of the funeral home. The Rev. James Flora will officiate. Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be David Keeney, Melvin Hamburg, Charles Hamburg and Wayne Keeney. Honorary pallbearers will be David Lee Keeney and Jesse Stevens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, 11350 McCormick Road, Cockeysville, MD 21031.

Shes buried in the Wolfe family plot with her mother Mary, brother Val, Harold, husband Melvin and father-in-law. Tombstone is shaped like a cross with family name Wolfe on it.
