Joseph was born in Belguim to Hubert & Felicia Longree. After Huberts death in 1905, Felicia and her 4 children came to America from Belguim. Felicia was married 2 more times to which the last was Adolph Deligne but it is not known if Joseph was legally adopted or just took the surname Deligne as his records show his surname to be Longree. At some point he had to have legally changed his surname as his wife and sons went by the name as well.
