He was born September 25, 1921 in Johnson, AR the son of John and Lucy Boatright Bailey.
He had attended Black Oak Church of Christ and served in the United States Army in the Pacific during World War II.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Prella Bailey and mother of his children and his second wife, Beulah Bailey and three brothers.
Survivors include 3~sons, Jerry Bailey and Louis Bailey both of Brentwood and Barry Bailey of West Fork; 1~daughter, Joy Benjamin of Brentwood; 3~brothers, Bob Bailey of Houston, Texas, Carson Bailey of Farmington and Carl Bailey of Springdale; 1~sister, Lavern Glen of Springdale; 12~grandchildren, 18~great-grandchildren and 2~great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 P.M. Monday, February 20, 2012 at Beard's Funeral Chapel with Chris Benjamin officiating.
Burial will be in Brentwood Cemetery.
