Mary Audi Bagsby, nee Courtney, 79, of Dupo, wife of the late Francis Cecil Bagsby, died Dec. 16, 1983, in Collinsville.

Funeral Mats was held at 9 a.m. Dec. 19 in Sacred Heart Church, Dupo, Father Lloyd P. Misho officiating. Burial was in St. Denis Cemetery, Fancy Farm, Ky. Dashner Funeral Directors of Dupo were in charge.

Mrs. Bagsby was born May 20, 1904, in Fancy Farm, Ky., a daughter of the late Stephen Gentry Courtney and Clara Alberta Courtney, nee Curtsinger.

Mrs. Bagsby was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Dupo; the Sacred Heart Women's Club, and the Dupo Senior Citizens.

Her survivors include two sons, Gerald Bagsby of Tulsa Okla. and Joseph M. Bagsby of Washington, Mo.; three daughters, Mrs. Catherine Ladyman of Dupo, Mrs. Bernard (Dorothy) Green of Waterloo, and Mrs. George (Carol) Schneider of Collinsville; 29 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, a son, two daughters, a brother and two sisters.

The Rosary was recited 6:30 p.m. Sunday at the Dashner Funeral Home, Dupo.
