Mrs. Ida Ubbelohde, 91, a former resident of the Town of Greenbush, died early Sunday morning at the home of her son, Leslie, at 2404 N. 11th St. She had been making her home with him for the past 20 years. A native of Sheboygan Falls, she was born July 11, 1874, a daughter of the late Owen and Elvira Sabins.(Sic) As a young girl she and her family moved to Mason City, Iowa, where she attended grade school. The family returned to Wisconsin and settled in the Greenbush area in 1896. On July 23, 1896, she married Theodore Ubbelohde at Plymouth. He died in 1927. Mrs. Ubbelohde was a member of Greenbush Methodist church.
Surviving are three sons, Leslie, and Donald both of Sheboygan, and Mynard of Bennington, Neb.; a daughter, Mrs. Edmund (Dorothy) Meisel, Shorewood; 10 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. A son also preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at Ballhorn Funeral Chapels with the Rev. T. Parry Jones, minister of the First Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in the family lot in Greenbush cemetery.
