Leo Nathan Stringer 81,Foxworth
Funeral services were held at 11a.m. on Friday,Dec.21,2012 in the
New Hope Baptist Church for Mr.Leo Nathan Stringer,81,of Foxworth,
who died Wednesday ,Dec.19 in Columbia.Interment was in the Lott
cemetery .Dr.Tim Parker and Dr.Hiram Campbell officiating at the
services.Viciation was held beginning at 4;30 p.m.on Thursday
Dec.20 at New Hope Baptist Church,
A native of Marion county,he was a foreman in road construction and a
member of New Hope Baptist Church.He was preceded in death by his wife Merle B.Stringer,parents Robert B and Bessie Mallonea Stringer,
brothers,Luther,Leslee and Charlie Stinger and sister ,Ivy Stonger.
Survivors include daughter,Margie Teston [Dale]of Foxworth ,son
Keith Stringer of Foxworth ,sister Eva Mae Pounds of Foxworth ,three
grandchildren Misti Barber,Robbie Stringer [Amy]and Kristin Teston;
three great grandchildren Logan Barber Dalton Stringer and McKenize
Stringer and a number of nices and nephews.
Pallbearers were allen Stonger ,Wayne Stringer Terry Pounds,Joe Bedwell ,Scotty Blackwell and Earl Clark.
Honorary pallbearers were Denson Pittman,Emmitt Stringer,Jimmy Thomas,Sonny Boy Stringer,Tommy Mitchell and the Men's Sunday Class
at New Hope Baptist Church.
Hathorn Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
