Donald "Don" Eugene Blanton, age 59, of Mount Vernon, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, March 19, 1998. Don was born Friday, June 17, 1938 in Mount Vernon, Ohio to the late Glen E. Blanton and Lucy G. Bush.
Survivors include his wife; Harriet L. Blanton, a daughter; a half brother; Gerald M Blanton, a half sister; Glenda McClain, step-mother; Isabelle Blanton, his grandchildren, step-children, numerous other family members. He was preceded in death by his father; Glen Blanton, his mother; Lucy Beeman, and step-father; Charles Beeman all of Mount Vernon, Ohio.
Graveside services will be Sunday, March 22, 1998 at 1:00 p.m. with interment in Mount Vernon Memorial Garden
