Marye Jane Mudge, 84, of 1907 5th Ave. Canyon, died Thursday.

Services are pending with Holley Funeral Home in Canyon.

Mrs. Mudge was born in Johnson County and moved to Canyon four years ago from
Cleburne. She was a member of Eastern Star and Central Church of Christ in
Cleburne. She was a National Flower judge, past president of City Garden Club of
Cleburne and was active in Red Cross during World War II.

Survivors include a son, Stanley of Canyon; a daughter, Frances Cooper of
Cleburne; a sister, Anne Loper of Cleburne; seven grandchildren and eight
great-grandchildren.
