Graveside services for Margaret Lucille Sanders Kennedy Griffin will be Saturday, February 18, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Dennis Coats officiating. Wright's Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Griffin, 85, of Quitman, Mississippi died Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at Lakeside Living Center in Quitman, Mississippi. She was a longtime Sunday School teacher at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sons, Horace Evan Kennedy, Jr. (Jr.), James C. Kennedy (Jimmy), Milton Lee Kennedy (Lee) and Roger Lamar Kennedy (Roger); 14 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild; brothers, James Sanders and Kelly Sanders; and sisters, Gladys McLean, Sybil Williams and Marlene Cinquemani.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Evan Kennedy, parents, M. D. Sanders, Sr. and Annie Belle Hudson Sanders, sister, Annie Ruth Sanders and brother, M. D. Sanders.
Pallbearers will be Mark Kennedy, Mitch Kennedy, Matt Kennedy, Gregg Kennedy, Kyle Kennedy, Ryan Kennedy, Jodie Kennedy, Guy Johnson, Quent Johnson, Kenny Kennedy and Jamie Kennedy.
