He was born May 13, 1945, at Pocatello, ID, to Hugh Michael Curtis, Sr. and Lola A. Kynaston Curtis. He was raised in Pocatello and attended St. Joseph's Catholic School, where he served as an altar boy. He then attended Pocatello High School and graduated in 1963.
On September 15, 1962, he married Pauline Tackett and they had three children: Hugh Michael Curtis III, Sonja Lynn Curtis, and Madonna Kaye Curtis. They later divorced and he married Loretta Jenson in Pocatello on March 27, 1973. Mike and Loretta divorced and Mike married Debra Hall in Tonopah, NV. They had one son, Jeremy Alan Curtis.
Mike worked construction most of is life and was a member of the Laborer's International Union of North America, Local #1227. He traveled a lot due to work, but spent most of his time in the area around Pocatello and Idaho Falls. He was an active member of the Upper Valley CB Club, using the handle "Sugar Bear."
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and competing in pool tournaments. He had one granddaughter & 2 great-granddaughters [names deleted].
