Mr. Hayles was a retired newspaper employee, he moved to Graham, Texas in 1965. Mr. Hayles was a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses. He was born at Royce City, Texas.
Survived by two sons - Billy Hayles and C.A. Hayles, Jr; one brother - J.W. Hayles; three sisters - Mrs. F.B. Fobal, Mrs. O.D. Milke, Mrs. Ray Tuttle; nieces and nephews.
