JOHNSON Wash - Funeral services for Ada M. Rux 82 a long-time resident of north-central Idaho and Eastern Washington, will be at 1:30 pm Wednesday from the Kimball Funeral Home in Pullman.
Mrs. Rux died Friday at Moscow, Idaho, where she had been hospitalized Christmas Day.
The Rev. Ralph E. Mader, pastor of the Assembly of God Church in Pullman, will conduct her services, with burial services following at the Pullman City Cemetery.
Mrs. Rux was born at Blackfoot, Idaho, July 4, 1891, moved with her family by wagon train to McMinnville, Ore., and settled later at Weippe, Idaho. She became a registered nurse in 1917, receiving her degree at Moscow. Her first husband Archie M. Haynes, died in 1932 and she went to Portland as a nurse. Wed to Charles L. Rux in December 1949 at Moscow, they resided at Davenport, Wash., until moving to Johnson late in 1968. He died in 1972.
Her survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Rex Steiner, Johnson; Mrs. James Roper, at the Crow Agency in Montana, and Mrs. Mitchell Kiamie, Stamford, Conn.; four stepdaughters, Mrs. Elmer Reker, Reardan, and Mrs. Elwend Kruger, Mrs. Claude Rutter, and Mrs. Bud Olsen, all of Davenport; two brothers in Oregon, a sister on the Coast, nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
