A native of Alamance County, she was wife of the late William Fowler Ezzell, Sr., and daughter of the late John Ernest Boone and Cora Glosson Boone. She retired from Kayser-Roth after 21 years service and was a member of Piedmont Presbyterian Church, where she was active in the Women's Circle.
Surviving are a son, William F. Ezzell, Jr. and wife Rebecca of Arlington, VA; daughter, Jan Campbell and husband Harold of Fredericksburg, VA; a brother, Harry Robert Boone and wife Jo of Anderson, SC; five grandchildren, Julie E. Ross, Jennifer F. Ezzell, Brian W. Campbell, Katherine E. Campbell and Colin S. Campbell; and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Fannie Lee Boone Thomas and two brothers, J. Ernest Boone, Jr. and J. Morrison Boone.
