Mrs. Mary Aberle, 78, of 1005 W. Dayton St, a resident of Madison for more than 50 years, died today at a Madison hospital after a week's illness.

She is survived by five sons, William, Max, Charles, Leo, and Albert, Madison; five daughters, Mrs. Marie Osborne, Mrs. John Dunigan, Mrs. Fred Wilhelm, and Mrs. Helen Majestic, Madison, and Mrs. W. A. Hammond, Los Angeles, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Augusta Thorhaug, Radisson, Wis., and a brother, Charles Poths, Lampson, WIs.
