Martin G. Sather,71, died of a heart attack while working as a carpenter at the Farmers Store here Wednesday afternoon. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Central Lutheran Church with the Rev. Harold Haugland officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery. Mr, Sather was born in the town of Norden and made his home in Mondovi for 34 years. He worked as a carpenter for 53 years. He was a veteran of WW1 and a member of the Dillon-Johnson American Legion Post. He is survived by his wife, Marion; four daughters, Mrs. Jack Strand, Mrs. Milo Scheuermann and Mrs. Wayne Nelson of Minneapolis and Mrs. Harold Kurth of Milaca Minnesota; five brothers, Henery and Olav of Eleva, Gilbert of Strum, Theodore of Gilmanton and Edwin of Minneapolis; three sisters, Mrs. Ole Larson, Mondovi, Mrs. Nels Hovey of Eleva and Mrs. Carl Gregerson of Eau Claire and 13 grandchildren. Friends may call this afternoon and evening and until 11 A.M. Saturday at the church.
