Leo Geisler grew up on Church Avenue in McKees Rocks and later lived in Carnegie, Chartiers City, Coraopolis, Boca Raton Florida and Robinson Township. He worked for the Dravo Corporation on Neville Island for many years and was a talented and skilled carpenter and wood-worker. His first marriage was to Althea Beck. They had one daughter born in 1942. He served in the US Navy during WWII and in 1947 he married Catherine Szerbiak.
