She absolutely hated the name Julia Jane and I never asked her why. She was always called Judy. Her grandmother on her maternal side of the family was Julia and her grandmother on her paternal side had Jane as a middle name. Thus where she got her name and perhaps this is why she shunned it as she did not live with her biological parents past the age of 10.
The daughter of Viola Marie Bartlett of Tonganoxie, Kansas and Harry H. Thompson of York, Nebraska.
She lived most of her life with the Thomas Tracy family of Lincoln and considered them her parents from the age of ten. Her Mother was quite ill and her father had remarried. When she was four years of age her family moved from York, Ne. to Lincoln where she lived the rest of her life.
Judy never met a stranger and was a friend to many. She died of complications from surgery. She is missed so very much by her family.
She married Ben Miles Keller in 1937 and is the Mother of two children.
