Cadiz, Ky - Roy Kenneth Stewart, Sr., 56, of Cerulean, died at 8:50pm Saturday in Trigg County Hospital after and illness of three weeks.
Services will be at 2pm Tuesday at Goodwin Funeral Home. The Rev. Chandler Ford will officiate and burial will be in Cerulean Cemetery with Masonic Rites.
Mr. Stewart, a native of Trigg County, was born August 20, 1913, the son of the late Ross Roy and Winnie Mae Brent Stewart.
He was employed as a psychiatric aide at Western State Hospital, was a veteran of World War II, a member of the Cerulean Masonic Lodge and the Cerulean Baptist Church.
His wife, Mrs. Eliza Haydon Turner Stewart, survives.
Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Becky Woolf, Christian County, Mrs. Debra Jane Stewart, of the home; one son, Roy Kenneth, Jr., of the home; two brothers, Carl E. Stewart, Hopkinsville and R.C. Stewart, Cerulean and three grandchildren.
Active Pallbearers will be Carroll Stewart, Buster Stewart, Bruce Stewart, Buddy Stewart, Brent Stewart, and Royce Stewart. Honorary Pallbearers will be Garland Hart, Harlan Hart, Buddy P'Pool, Arnett Bryant, Ellsworth Williams, Newell Cortner, Billy Morgan, W.E. Rogers, Jr. and C.W. Davis
