Born to Zachariah David Lewallen (1822-1910) & Nancy McDonald Lewallen (1818-1896), both of Tennessee.

Ferbie married Amos Johnson (1853-1930) in 1873 in Madison County, Arkansas.

Eight known children:
• Mary Clara Johnson (1874-about 1905)
• Joel J. Johnson (1875-1949)
• Nancy Johnson (7/27/1879-about 1905)
• Charles Erastus Johnson (1881-1978)
• Thomas Connor Johnson (1884-1962)
• Andrew J. Johnson (1886-1966)
• Bedford Marshall Johnson (1887-1970)
• Elmer Johnson (1895-1980)

Sometime between 1887 and 1895, the family moved from Madison County, Arkansas, to Bell County, Texas. By 1910, only 6 of 9 children were living, per census.

Ferbie's death certificate says she was born in KY, but she and all her siblings were born in TN. Ferbie's real name was Pharaba, but she was always called Ferbie.
