Shirley Ann Pigg, 73, of Cass passed away at 4:40 p.m. Saturday, February 11, 2012 at her residence.

She was born in Hymera on October 10, 1938 the daughter of Raymond Edward Bradbury and Clara Bernice Jenkins Bradbury.

Shirley was a member of the Pentecostal Samaria Church, and formerly was a deli manager at Angell's.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter Tonya Pigg.

Survivors include her husband of 53 years Gilbert Pigg Sr., whom she married on May 5, 1958; three sons, Gilbert Pigg Jr. (Deni) of Cass, Rick Pigg (Tammy) of Dugger, Joe Pigg (Karla) of Dugger; two daughters, Teresa Starkey (Mike) of Dugger, Kim Hux (Rollie) of Dugger; one brother Raymond Edward Bradbury Jr. (Iris) of Hymera; one sister Carolyn Smith (Charlie) of Dugger; nine grandchildren, Michele Sandusky, Mica Starkey, Crystal Dubowski, Johna Schaefer, Tanna Reed, Dusty Pigg, Brody Pigg, Taylor Pigg, Jalen Pigg; and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 15 at Newkirk's Funeral Home in Dugger with Rev. David Adams and Rev. Gary Shaw officiating. Interment will follow in the Dugger Cemetery.
