Jo Ann Diefenthaler, age 77, of Maumee, Ohio, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2012 at University of Toledo Medical Center. Jo Ann was born in Bedford, IN on June 15, 1934, to Roy and Clara (Stout) Brock.
Jo Ann was employed as a office clerk for 12 years at BP Oil. She was a member of Faith Community United Church of Christ, Maumee. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, sewing, traveling and her card club.
She is survived by her children, Nancy (Kurt) Ehrhardt, David (Christine) Diefenthaler, Ellen Tipping and Janet Ross; grandchildren, James (Amanda) Kantner, Mindy (Adam) Noaker, Kathryn (Robert ) LaMere, Jennifer (David) Shumaker, Natalie Ross, Anthony Ross and great grandchildren, Corinne, Gavin, Eris, Brock and Marissa. In addition to her parents, Jo Ann was preceded in death by her loving husband of 49 years, Homer; son-in-law, Arlen Tipping; sisters, Juanita, Kathleen, Norma, Roberta and brothers, Raymond and Robert.
