She married John Henry "Jack" Stewart on 16 Jul 1906 in the Rural Municipality of Franklin, in Manitoba, Canada. They lived in Winnipeg, where he was a City Fireman. On 8 Nov 1907, their son, James Chesley Stewart was born.

In December, 1907, he husband was assigned to fight a major commercial fire in downtown Winnipeg. He was soaked with water, in sub-freezing weather. He developed frostbite in both feet, and died of those injuries on 16 Jan 1908.

17 days later, their only child died. He is buried in the same grave with his father.

She left Manitoba permanently and moved to Vancouver, British Columbia. There, she married her 1st Cousin, Once Removed, Alexander Foulds. They had two children, both born in Vancouver, B.C..

She and her family moved to Seattle, Washington at some point in the 1920's, as they first appear in the US Census in 1930 in Seattle.
