Mr. Washington Bolton Dead.
He passed away yesterday morning.
Mr. Washington Bolton, probably the oldest tailor in Richmond, died at his home, No. 505 West Clay Street, yesterday morning at 3:45 o'clock. His funeral will take place from the residence this afternoon at 4:30 o'clock. Deceased was 79 years of age, and had resided in Richmond for sixty years. He was born in James City County. His wife died about two years ago, and there now survives three children --Mrs. R.D. Chesterman, Mr. E.H. Bolton, and Mr. F. D. Bolton of Norfolk. Deceased was a gallant Confederate soldier, serving with distinction in Parker's Battery. He was wounded at Spotsylvania Courthouse.
