HOYT--Mrs. Mary Idella Jeffries, 77, Hoyt, died Monday in a Holton hospital.
She was born Nov. 22, 1893 at Linn Creek, MO and lived in the Hoyt community 45 years. She was a member of the Church of Christ at Freedom, MO.
She was married to Ernest Jeffries Dec. 22, 1909. He survives.
Other survivors include 2 daughters, Mrs. Icel Martin, Route 1, Mayetta, and Mrs. Beth Uber, Springfield, ILL; 2 sons, Ora Jeffries, Topeka, and William Jeffries, Meriden; a sister, Mrs. Bethel Wallis, Montreal, MO. a brother, Luther Edwards, Warrensburg, MO. and 13 grandchildren.
Services will be Thurs. at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton with burial in Mayetta Cemetery.
