"MRS. JOE CAVNESS.
On last Saturday evening the soul of Mrs. Joe Cavness took its flight to the land from whence no traveler has ever returned. Deceased was 32 years of age, and a native of the Cherokee locality, her maiden name being McDonald. She was the mother of eight children, two of whom had preceded her in death.

Behind to mourn her departure, the husband and six children, one an infant; her father and mother and eleven brothers and sisters. Rev. W. C. White conducted the funeral service at the home Sunday evening and the remains were laid to rest in the Hanna Cemetery. We join in extending sympathy to the bereaved ones."--Cherokee Herald.
