Edwin Lockwood Adams of Centreville, Ms. Entered eternal rest on Tuesday, July 22, 2003 at 4:38am at Luling, Louisiana. Beloved husband of the late Edwina Cadow Adams. Son of the late Ida Rae and William Leon [sic Lockwood] Adams. Father of Earl H., Edward L., Ronald E., and Juan F. Adams, Sharon A. Deloach, and Delilah A. Dufrene. Father-in-Law of Fay Adams, Dwight Deloach, Virginia Adams, Delcie Adams, Rhonda Adams, and Kevin Dufrene. Also survived by 16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brothers: Thomas, William, Sidney, Henry, Joseph and Edgar Adams. His sisters: Emma, Beatrice, Lillian, Amanda, Ray, Florence, Alice and Lucinda Adams. Also preceded in death by one daughter: Judith Lynn Adams. A resident of Paradis, La. for the past 63 Years.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services on Friday, July 25, 2003 at 11:00am. Visitation will be from 9:00am-11:00am at the Des Allemands Baptist Church in Des Allemands, La. Burial Will be at Mennonite Cemetery in Des Allemands, La.
Mr. Adams was a member of the RSVP of the River Parishes for 14 years. He enjoyed volunteering his time as a barber for the River Parish Nursing Homes and Hospitals.
