He is the son of E.H. and Helen Grant and a brother to Irwin. He married Grace Hackleman on April 27, 1929 at Oswego and they were blessed with a son, Stephen. Wren spent most of his life in the Chetopa area. He was a former Mayor and Councilman of the City of Chetopa.
