David William McNair

David William McNair, 77, died Monday in a Topeka hospital after a long illness. He was born April 14, 1870, in Wabaunsee County and was employed by the Santa Fe as a wood machinist before retiring in 1920. He was a member of Euclid Avenue Methodist Church and Modern Woodmen.

Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Olive Rich, Topeka; a granddaughter, Miss Mary Jo McNair, Topeka; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 3:30 p.m. today at Penwell's Chapel. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
