Obituary in unknown newspaper, 23 Jul 1943: Denmark - Mrs. Cora Rebecca Whetstone, 76, died this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Jerry Stillinger, in Norway. Surviving are two daughter, Mrs. Stillinger and Mrs. J. E. Crider, and a son, Victor Whetstone of Denmark; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Ann Laird of Orangeburg and Mrs. Hattie Sires of Waphula, Fla.; a brother, Ben T. Gue of Norway; two step-daughters, Mrs. E. F. Gardner of Blackville and Mrs. Neeley Wolfe of Fort Motte; also none grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 11 o'clock Saturday morning by the Rev. H. S. Sauls.
